Don't Revive Title II Of H.R.1314

What kind of dishonest procedural runaround is the House of Representatives up to? You rejected Title II of the Fast Track bill (H.R.1314), and then went right ahead and passed the rest of the bill minutes later.

And now we hear they are going to try to sneak Title II through again in a couple more days, to perfect the betrayal of the American people. Don't think we don't know about how much money those engineering this deceptive act of treason have been paid off by corporate lobbyists for this con.

H.R.1314 is loaded with worthless window dressing, none of which is actually binding at all. 37 Pages of so-called "negotiating objectives," Section 102, don't mean a thing. All that matters is that this relies solely on the president, whoever he or she is, making the unilateral determination about any of this. Section 103, p. 38.

Congress has already shamefully surrendered the power to amend anything themselves or to stop even the most outrageous deal by filibuster. Section 106(b)(2)(A), p. 92, 106(b)(3)(D), p. 95. And by its construction we only get to read the actual deal AFTER Congress has abdicated any meaningful power to stop it.

Don't even think about trying to revive Title II of H.R.1314, or no amount of corporate campaign contributions will save you in your next primary election.
